He doesn't use a lathe at all his tubes are made with a regular torch. The electroforming he started about a few months ago and he just got a sandblasting kit so I can't wait to see what he's gonna crank out once he gets good with sandblasting and even better with the electroforming as well as his general glassblowing skill. |

Thanks, I can't even believe how good he's gotten since he started and I can't believe how good he is going to get...definitely gonna be a sooner or later...I saw some of the pieces that he made when he was first starting and holy shit what an improvement from then...Yea I know...He really wanted to get into glassblowing so he worked all summer for my parents last year and saved every penny to put it towards his studio...He's slowly teaching me how to do some work but I live like 45 minutes away from him on a day with no traffic and I really only get in like 3-5 hours on the torch per week so my progression is going slower but I will post up some of my work as well even though it's nothing compared to his ![]() |

Alright so I set up a Photobucket account for myself so I could keep all my pictures in one place and make them easy to access and easy to link on TC. So that being said I updated the first post to show the actual pictures of my brothers work rather than just a link to the album with the pictures in it... |
