Have ya ever done somethin, just b'cuz... ...just to see wut will happen? Well I got four 3 foot tall LA Con. x Pure in 4 gal. pots... ... and a 3 foot tall (SSxB)xSS in a buckit... ...that need to be flowered... ...in a 5'x5' room... ...under a single 400w HPS... ...did I mention this'll be in an attic space... ...where temps will often hit over 90*? ...and that at the end... ...the first three weeks of August... ...they're gonna hafta go under a 1000w... ...where temps will routinely be above 100*? Right, I know...but wut the fuk else am I gonna do with 'em? ![]() ...cook 'em the whole time under a 1000w? I don't think so. ...chop 'em up & compost 'em? I don't think so. ...let 'em jus continue to veg outta control? I don't think so. ...LET'S FLOWER THEM BITCHES IN THE VEG ROOM!! Do not attempt to try this at home. This experiment is being performed by a trained professional, under a closely monitored situation, using the best professional materials available... ...either that, or I'm jus an idiot. ![]() So... I can't quit veggin, cuz I gotta keep some mother plants of these two lines. That means Ima need another spot to veg. Ain't gotta be much, I kin git away with fluros fer now. Let's see, I got a 2-bulb shop light, that should work. Now to hang it, let's git umm.....a walker. Add a timer and...TA-DA!!......a new veg area. ![]() That (SSxB)xSS in the buckit is gittin huge. That bitch is already 3' tall and bushy as hell... It's takin up the whole door...I can't even git in there. Looks like Ima hafta resort to my trusty razor blade, and hack that lowest foot of growth off. There, that looks a lil better... Now, b'fore I even look at the other plants, I'm gonna hafta pull the buckit out, and raise the light as high as it will go. The ceiling in here is only 75", and topping the light out... ...leaves the glass 63" off the floor. Let's see, buckit's 14" tall, plant's are 36" tall, leaves 13"....hope these bitches don't stretch much. ![]() Alright, time to take a look at the other four plants, all LA Confidential x The Pure... ...and I'm gonna trim aboot the bottom foot like I did the other plant. There, that's better, and I got some clones to boot... The plant in the buckit's too big to be in the doorway...it needs to be in a spot where I ain't gotta move it, cuz I'm gonna end up havin to string this bitch up. I'll jus place the rest so they fill in the rest of the space. Ok, now wut do we have for ventilation? ![]() Yer fukkin kiddin, right?.....crap. ![]() Well, point that one at the light, and let's drag the floor oscillator in here. Gotta have somethin. All crammed in... Now, if you'll all bow yer heads, we'll pray fer the best. Amen. ![]() |

Lets hope no praying is needed lol. For what it matters, that grow looks strangely familiar... OH YEAH, I just got done with a grow room which had 3 LA Confidential's and it was in the upper part of the house so the temp would be in the 90's from time to time while flowering.. |

![]() Let's have a peek... The buckit plant got filled up with Bloom nutes. The 4 soil plants were really dry, so they got some water tonite, and they will be re-soaked agin in the mornin, after the soil's re-moistened. I will also be scratchin some guano into the soil b'fore I water. Our lil hot spell has broke, so night-time temps are much more reasonable now, which allows me to keep the situation cooler overall. Plants don't look too bad...lil curlin on the top leaves, no biggie. Ya can't tell from that pic, but everythin is a nice dark green. Well...wait a minute...you guys are always takin "lights-off" pics... ...lemme jus stumble up in the dark... ...and see wut I kin git... ...be right back... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ...ahh, here we go... ...see, a nice dark green. Also somethin interestin to note. Do you see the difference in the leaves? The first pic wuz taken aboot 15 minutes b'fore lights out, and the second pic wuz taken aboot 3 hours after lights out. See how the leaves are more drooped in the lights out pic?....that's how I know plants sleep. ![]() |

Nice work Bob... BTW, I've noticed cannabis plants don't always droop that much when they sleep depending on their stage of bloom... |
