Round One!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Hokay, so... For round one the current rankings are as follows... ![]() I have 6 Chem Sister Bx1 beans soaking before they get put in pellets tomorrow, along with 4 Blue Buddha, 3 Double Underdawg, and 2 Puna Budder. ![]() Before anybody gives me shit, (not that I think this will deter the shit-giving) I know it's not ideal to veg with an HPS, but as I said in my previous post, this is a budget grow, I only bought the necessities needed for a somewhat successful harvest. The rest are things I had left over from previous grows... Here's the 400 watt I'm starting with, as soon as the tub starts getting crowded I'm adding a second 400 watter to make sure everything is covered. ![]() Well, take care everyone, I'll have more updates tomorrow and hopefully more pics too...it's really good to be back. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

They are ALIVE!!!![]() Well...some of them are. ![]() The rest are just lazy but I'm sure they'll follow soon. Thanks, I will. ![]() Yeah it's ridiculous how well suited they can be for grow rooms, especially a temporary one. This one has 3 slick semi-gloss walls and of course an all white tub, and I've been thinking about getting some Mylar and taping it to the inside of the shower curtain just for the hell of it. And venting is really easy to take care of. Sup bob ![]() Oh that's relieving, I've only been reading up stuff again for about 3-4 days and couldn't find anybody that didn't say something bad about seedlings and clones being under an HPS, kept coming across the same argument that the spectrum of the HPS is bad for rooting or something like that... How far do you keep yours from seedlings? I remember it's like 12 inches for mature plants but wasn't sure if I should start 'em at like 18" or higher. 4 of the 6 Chem Sis Bx1 are showing tap roots already... ![]() No others were showing tap roots yet but some were showing very fine slits appearing on the seem, in 24 hours I'm very happy with the results. So after soaking them for 24 hours, I took the cups out of the cupboard they were in and set them aside. Earlier I soaked some Jiffy Pellets in some water mixed with a very small amount of Superthrive. (1 drop per Gallon) ![]() I marked them off with paper clips so its easier to keep track of which is which, then threw the pre-soaked beans in the dirt... ![]() Then I slapped a dome on the tray to keep the humidity up. ![]() Here's the key... ![]()
