How do you extinguish your bowl? - Page 7

this is a decent debatish here, if i were to extiguish a bowl i would use anything flat, just ahppens a coin is what i would most likely grab for cuz its something that is always on me.. now.. here b\my view point on re lighting a bowl. i simply am not a fan, and my reason i think is pretty just.... the idea of vaporization is what brings me to my reasoning.. with vaporization you draw hot air through canna and it evaporates the thc to a certain extent.. now when you are toking a bowl and half the bowl is on fire or just the top or side, what ever it may be.. inmho the other side (the unlit) side is subject to some pretty extreme temps and you are drawing some air through it.. so id guess that a fair amount of the thc on the unlit side is gettin vaped.. but thats just my strange perspective on it.. toke on and enjoy what you do.

man i just find a cool coin like a silver dollar or some shit and use that. i also like to conserve ad not just let that cherry burn

I also prefer to just snap steadily so there's nothing to put out, but I have extinguished the after-burn with my finger, rather than the bottom of a bic lighter...

I like the idea of the beeline pack, marble, or coin. How about getting a cheap glowrod at a LHS and just using it to tamp down your bowl?

I'll leave the snap/bowl debate out of it and say that when smoking buds a tamper is definitely a great tool. It packs down the bowl and extinguishes at the same time. If you're smoking some sticky hash, a tamper can ruin your bowl fast. I usually hold a soda/beer can over the burning bowl. The convex shape allows you to extinguish without ever touching anything in the bowl. And they are probably in your house already. my 2c.

uh, suprised i havent seen this one yet. when the bowl is cherried and you want to put it out simply push down the gas on a bic lighter(dont spark it) and aim it into the bowl, it should remove any oxygen, therefore not letting it burn.. this is what i use to do for hash and what i still do if someone packs a big bowl and it cherries.
