I would like to see more resin tbh,but as a test grow for Dutch Passions Think different autofem variety I think it's done its job...It has certainly changed the way I think about automatics for sure...I have been sent the entire range of autos now and I'll get around to giving them all a run between more important grows..

Update!

The plant I was posting pics of is now dried,and curing..
I got somewhere between 175-180 grams of pleasant but by no means devastating pot,it took me just a shade over 3 months and I used 345w of light on one plant.I'm looking forward to using this LED over some heady genetics in the time to come,and really getting familiar with this DWC lark.

gotta question for you guys that have done this a few times. I recently visited a buddy and he couldn't wait to show me his latest project. growing out of a fish tank. with fuckin fish in it. clear glass, and fish. and one tank even has a turtle. I thought light to the roots was a no no? they were all white and healthy. he says no added nutrients involved, he just feeds the fish and they just shit. they all started from clone and vegged for maybe 2 weeks. now been flowering for 2 I think and by god...they look decent. dark green healthy plants loaded with bud sites. his lights are shit and the entire thing just screams inefficient to me but so far so good. I'm still skeptic that it'll produce good buds... any one tried this? is this a legit grow style?

wow. a whole new world. thanks man. I'm readin about it. sounds like ideally he'd have the dwc set up connected to the fishtank and use the tank more as a reservoir? any one on here ever done it?

I played around with it a few years ago on top of my xenopus frog tank,although I didn't grow canna but chillies instead.It was extremely low tech but the chillies were great.

I floated the netpots on a styrofoam raft with holes in it for the roots to dangle into the tank.The airstone and water movement kept the roots pretty healthy but I don't know how well it would work with fish that are vegetarians,in that situation I would opt to keep the roots within a mesh to protect them from nibbling mouths
