I was drinking Two Beers Evolutionary IPA today.... in a job interview because, "Hey you like great beer and heck it's growler friday anyways! Just don't wanna get you drunk!" Best interview ever? I think so.

I took my first trip to Founders today. The food was great and the beer was even better.

Oatmeal Stout- Nitro

Devil Dancer

I also had a Curmudgeon, Dave's Not Here (a barrel aged red ale with molassas from the explanation I remember, and the best beer of the day), Founders Fest Wheat, a Porter, and Spite. The Spite tastes like eating raw hot peppers dipped in beer. I Definitely will be going back soon.

This weeks scoops: Lawsons x Maine Beer Co black IPA, Founders Frangelic, Bobcat Flood Suds ( best wit bier I have ever had and the proceeds go towards flood victims from hurricane Irene last year,) Ommegang adoration and biere d'hougoumont, and a bunch of Lawsons Finest Session in the Rye, easily one of the best beers I have ever had. Oh yeah, also got one of the last two growlers of Fiddlehead's beer brewed with maple sap.
