no, that's not correct.
I use mine often, and never once had "herb fly out of the bowl"
you dont need to turn the fan on high.
in fact, I let the hot air heat "warm" the herb before I draw every time, so this is 100% incorrect.

Regardless of what screen you use, it sounds like the technique you use is: first you put the gun into the nitro bowl, then you turn the gun on correct? That's what you mean by you let the hot air heat warm the herb before you draw. I'm not saying the seal isn't tight where herb flies out, I'm talking about with the heat gun on, if you put it to the bowl, things tend to fly out. Now if you start with the heat gun in the bowl, then turn it on, I can see why things don't fly out. The problem I have with this method is that (not sure about the Wagners, but I have a Steinel) when you turn on the gun while it's already in the bowl, the temp tends to shoot up, maybe 40-50 degrees past the temp that you want in the beginning, before it starts backing down to the desired temp.
The VRIP bowl holds the herb in regardless of what technique you use to start off with. If you have another method to keep your herb in the Nitro bowl without first putting the heat gun into it on the off setting, I'd be very happy to give it a try.

yes it's loud... it's a wagner heatgun. it's used for industrial work, not designed to be a quiet vape.

My point wasn't that the wagner heat gun is loud, or that its used for industrial work, just that there is a quieter alternative out there that most definitely outperforms my top of the line Steinel.
