when you cross two dissimilar strain you don't always get that extreme vigor in the F1 some broad leaf lines can completely dominate the cross 1 way and take it to the broad leaf...In the F2 or 3 of those lines when selected properly you can really find the gems...

You are thinkin of traits, specifically trait dominance...and you would be correct aboot that. But hybrid vigor is not a trait, it kin not be stabilized into a line. It is simply the result of mixin different genetic pools that are dissimilar enough.

studies on cloning reveal that the cloned plant isn't a 100% match to the parent. DNA methylation IS real. Yet....not understood. "Cutting" edge shit, no doubt I think this relates to breeding as well. Once the DNA is methylated, that's inherited by the offspring *they* say. I'm not a super-biotech-researcher, but sources I trust have told me this after using genome sequencing tech. Methylation explains many things. Just tossing that out there for consideration.

How could this have happened? We started out like Romeo and Juliet, but instead it ended in tragedy. - Milhouse
