Smoking flowers in an oil rig?

It'd definitely be harsher than what you're used to. A majority of the folks here have already advised against it and I agree with them. Don't do it!

i think the nasty thing is the resin build up. It is sooo gross when you have claim build up and you smoke flowers and it adds black sludge to the claim build up totally making the piece useless unless you like that taste. boo boo. If you clean all the time then there you go, do what you want i guess. IMO if i had it my way i would use a small bub for oil and a larger tube for flowers (larger meaning like 11.5-14inches).

Also, perc in the flower tube and just a small chamber in the rig.

Do it man! If you don't mind extra cleaning (and seriously, how hard is it to clean a tiny rig?), and you aren't trying to take mad rip after rip, i think it would be a great way to preserve flavor. It would also be easier to travel with than a full-sized bong.

Obviously the only REAL solution is to increase your glass collection until you have at least two pieces for every weed smoking contingency. If you can't afford that, then obviously you live in a third-world nation somewhere and for that I pity you.

Oh I plan on it, its just hard to get that many pieces shortly when you are buying heady 500$-1000$ pieces.

I would have separate rigs IMO. BHO has a very dank tasty which I love. Mixing flowers and BHO in one rig will definitely throw off the flavor.

But yes you CAN smoke flowers out of an oil rig you won't die. But it's not the best decision. Just go buy a 30 dollar GonG for flowers somewhere would be my thought.
