Man bro you really dug this one up. It's really hard to argue against Wandy in this fighting considering he is 2-0 against Rampage, and KO'ed him brutally both times. And the fact that Shogun also owned page with the same technique doesnt look good for rampage either. However that was a few years ago, and most importantly in a ring where different rules were allowed and there was a MUCH longer first round(10 min Vs. 5 min). Now they are in a cage, with 5 minute rounds, and rampage has had plenty of time to learn to avoid a muay thai clinch(wheter he actually has learned that or not we'll find out). Rampage was winning both of the last fights before Wandy caught him in the clinch and smashed his face with knee's and KTFO him. This could be a very different fight, but it certainly seems that the thai clinch is Jackson's Achilles's heel. |
