You can get a candle warmer hot plate for about 5 bucks from any crafts store. Heat your scraped bho and whip it for a more buddery like texture.

Stirring the pot? How about informing an individual on a question he asked.

All ya had to do was search Xikar and you would see that it is not only one person who stands behind Xikar.

I'll Add XIKAR to the list. It leaves no residue on the mirror test and on the front says
"Stable non-volatile impurities, less than 30 parts per million."

havent heard to much about xikar tane. go to a mirror or window and depress the can on it so it squirts some tane on the surface and let it dry. If it does not have a gnarly smell and leave residue you should be fine with it. I'd say go ahead and give it a go i have used way worse tane in my days so this should be fine.

Colibri is 3x refined, but from what i understand gains in filtering it beyond 3x are minimal. My main problem with Colibri is the propane content. If you're going to be buying small cans anyway I'd get Xikar.

Xikar butane is Near-Zero impurities, 100ml size(small can) has 30ppms. I've used Xikar in the small cans and the oil tastes like oil made with small cans of Colibri.

Yea that thread goes on and on with different butanes that are fine. That was the INITIAL list gathered from a SINGLE site. Members posted multiple other butanes in that thread that are fine to use. Don't take my word for it, take long standing members like Tashis word for it.

Notice Vector isnt on the list either, are you saying that isnt acceptable.
Neither is Lucienne. Ive noticed it seems people use Lucienne as much as Vector or Colibri on here.

Do some more reading into critical solvent extraction.... the propane content is not really a bad thing.

And use Xikar all you want man. Dont let anyone stop you.


I will never stray from Colibri personally.
