Well a few people have had their pyrex shatter because of the rapid change of temperature that occurs when heating then blasting. Something like that anyways I read it somewhere around here a while back.. |

Well I thought u were supposed to let it sit a while after the tane? As to let it get back to around room temp. Idk I just don't see my thick dish shattering. Obviously u have to remeber how glass reacts to dramatic temp changes |

I run tane into a double boiler, the glass never really undergoes much of a change. |
