Yes. Glass shouldn't shatter over hot water.

U had a bad pieceof glass

Go to target and get a 6 dollar pyrex dish. No more breaks

I've cooked up plenty of substances on mine and no cracks.

Well a few people have had their pyrex shatter because of the rapid change of temperature that occurs when heating then blasting. Something like that anyways I read it somewhere around here a while back..

I've had pyrex shatter in my hands.
Lost a batch of oil.

Just because its Pyrex doesnt mean it wont break. ITS GLASS. EXHIBIT CAUTION.

Well I thought u were supposed to let it sit a while after the tane? As to let it get back to around room temp. Idk I just don't see my thick dish shattering. Obviously u have to remeber how glass reacts to dramatic temp changes

I run tane into a double boiler, the glass never really undergoes much of a change.

And it was thick as hell Pyrex too, my guess is, it suffered from overuse. It was an old pyrex I stole from my Mommy. (<3 Mom)

But yeah, Glass is glass. It breaks. Shit happens. Be careful.

For the ammount of tane to use:

run the tane thru notice at firSt it's all dark n Ambery then after a little while it runs clear. When the tane goes clear that means you've extracted it all. I make a can last an oz of nugs and I run my batches twice. Whole nugs and then ground up
