Ok so Ive decided to trigger flowering today since they are quite big and will only get bigger after the growth spurt. (remember this is a micro grow and im trying to keep them shorter than 12")

I setup my digital timer on a 12/12 cycle: 8am-8pm is on/ 8pm-8am is off. This will allow me to still put them in the sun during the day/lights on so they get the most light possible. I think I will have my work cut out trying to maintain a short bushy plant that will still fit in the box so Ill be using yarn (soft and flexible) to tie the various nodes down. Wish me luck! (pics soon to come)

Day 16:

Ok here is the last veg update. Tonight they will get their first 12 hours of darkness. I wont be updating the thread everyday during flowering, simply because their growth is more spread out so I will add new pics every other day. I wont start adding the nutrients until it looks like it needs them, and since I used MG 3-month they may never need extra nutes added. They both already smell in the veg state, the one with the thicker fan leaves smells just like bubblegum, the other isnt so pronounced and I think it may be a different strain altogether.

one of my goldens (he looks so happy )

Getting ready for bed (their first night without lights! They grow up so fast):

and is it not optimal conditions to let the tiniest amount of light into the box at night, because doesnt the moon reflect 12% of the suns light or something along those lines. I was thinking of covering the whole box with a blanket so its 100% light proof but I may want some light to come through the fan holes.
