I don't care what you say about me, but if you are interested in learning about what I am talking about, look up OG and PK in The Cannabible 3 by Jason King. It's a fun read and everything is explained there.

and yeah, i'd smoke it if you grew it and said it was good( as a fellow cannabis connoiseur), but no I won't smoke generically named green if i don't know the source. who knows what it could be.

and the only strain compository i ever liked was OG's. ah well.

put that book down and read the cultivation forums here.

ok back on topic though i own two amg's. one single perc sandblasted logo and one green straittube with the ice ring (butthole) ice catcher. the first i bought in venice beach for 160 with tax came with a shitty diffy and and alright little bowlpiece. we go up the street to fatburger eagerly pulling it out of its case to test our new perc and are shocked to find that the perc doesnt hold water.......now what is with this......being glass newbies at the time my friend and i say wahtever its a gong and chiefed it. sufficed to say it was alright but the perc was broken...call me stupid for not taking it back i know its coming. that one currently resides at my friends house and i dunno dont miss it much. my green label i bought off a friend up here for 40 dollars with the most ghetto of downstems (and i do mean most ghetto ill post a pic later.) but its a gong tube i cleaned the calcium off and its an ok daily driver. the cheap china ns diffy i bought works ok on it although i do agree the joints are sloppy as there is about a centimeter of space that the diffy wont sink down in but it still seals well. my final thoughts to you are if you really are that in love with an AMG. then buy it. they are on okay piece but I WOULD STRONGLY recommend that you save the money and buy a roor, toro etc. i would also really take what people on this forum say to heart they know glass. thanks. btw 60/40 sativa dominant. where its at IMHO

I heard AMG stands for American Made Glass, but their tubes are made in China.

I have an amg that I bought at Hi Tides in Gainesville. Honestly it looks like some others on here are hating on the amg's but since the day i bought mine, i have loved it. i also have a yellow label roor with a tree perc and those two pieces together work great. comparing the two qualities, there isnt as much difference, in my opinion, as everyone is making it out to be. they are good pieces.

you have to know what to look for.
first off, the Chinese AMG tubes are made from substandard chinese glass...
the roor is made of German Schott Duran glass... the best Borosilicate on the planet.

Roor uses ISO quality joints.. the chinese copies use inferior joints ( look closely.. you'll see the difference)

lastly, dome percs are inferior to the design of the tree perc.
pull trough both and you'll notice a considerable ammount of drag in the AMG.. which you wont find in the roor.

there's a HUGE difference man...
AMG's are made cheap.. to be sold cheap...from cheap glass.
Roor's are made with quality and love by a company that cares about it's end product, and it's customers.
