yes and no. glass insulates and has a higher specific heat, so at comparable temperatures glass holds much more energy than ti. conductivity only applies to heat travel through a material so while Ti may be able to move heat through the nail to the oil slightly faster than glass, since both are holding much more energy than necessary to vape it really doesnt have an impact on anything.

keep looking for reasons for your taste difference, there are so many variables in glass and Ti setups that could contribute to it. all im trying to say is that its probably not the material used to vape the oil, the taste difference you're all experiencing is due to something else.

Just cause some of them do it, doesnt mean we all do.

How is it any less safe than anything else?
It takes less than 10 seconds to heat up your Ti. You hold the torch at your Ti for 10 seconds, turn off the flame. Where could anything go wrong? You gonna drop it?
This has just as precise a flame as any butane torch also.
And ya aint the only one with "nice leather couches" etc...

i was thinking about this today and wondered; Crews, are you taking into account the ammount of heat lost to the air around the surface, and the air rushing past the surface on the inhale?

Well, I can control every single variable, including making both the glass and Ti nail myself so that they have the same shape. The only difference in setup is glass versus Ti. The taste is different between the two, and IMO, the Ti tastes better.

I'm not a materials scientist, and I'm not even going to offer up a male-answer-syndrome hypothesis why. My gut instict was that the glass should actually taste better, so if anything, I was biased in that direction.

I'll have some people over in a couple of weekends for a game, I'll blindtest them on the Ti vs Glass and get some opinions from the amateurs (these guys smoke about once a month, at my place )

for me personally this is not a taste issue. after using Ti for about a year i noticed every time i would take a rip my lungs would feel like they were collapsing. my buddy asked my if i had asthma and i told him no. well after using nails for a while i noticed this issue went away. i cant explain what is actually happening. but as far as my lungs and breathing go, i cant even use Ti anymore. im strictly a glass nail guy. maybe im the only one with this issue....maybe not. anyways just my .02 !!!
