true. the reinforcements might be strong enough that even with the added weight/momentum of the water the total stress during impact is still below the tensile strength threshold of the piece, but whether or not this is true is not an indication either way that there is no affect, I repeat "water weighs more than air, therefor, there would be added weight, which is itself the difference/effect..."

sorry mang, got it covered. I was simply suggesting another experiment (knowing full well that there would be minimal difference). like I said, just curious as to whether or not the difference would be relevant. I'm gunna go with 'no' for a new Toro, and 'maybe' in anything else. Again I apologize for letting myself be dragged down to that level and muddling up an otherwise killer thread. tres lame...

Sad to see the Toro decimated, but I'm glad the video exists to show just how damn durable it is. I could not believe the impacts that thing was shrugging off. |
