^Sick thanks for that.
I have to pickup a set before my next run that's for sure. I'll check out the hardware/craft stores in my area before I explore any dollar stores. I can imagine how a curved or flexible blade would be beneficial.

I use a rectangular with a big pan under it then when i purge just set it on top of the pan so there is like a 1/2 gap btw the water and glass, works perfect.

HMK says its better to have the pyrex floating in the water, so that the water is heating the pyrex and not steam.

although I will admit, my setup currently does not allow me to set my pyrex on the water, I have to set the pyrex on top of the pan and let the steam do the job.

HMK says the steam doesnt provide as uniform heat as setting the pyrex in water, which makes perfect sense.

Just recently found some pyrex circular dishes that are dope, the nes i had were almost convex in the center making all the spray run to a ring around the outside. The ones I jsut picked up are more concae, dishin towards the middle. I never get to the edges with any legit amount until i start running over an ounce of flower into a dish.

the shallow circle seems to be easiest to get it all off of. but i guess the square would have its advantages.

9" round pie plate ftw!!! can bend the razor just enough to get the proper curve for a smooth scrape, tho i did snap a blade in half flexing it a bit to hard...

I just got an anchor hawking 9" at walmart.
8 bucks.
Flat as fuck. Keeps oils from swishing around while spraying....

Shit is WAY better than traditional pie plate with bendy edges..... argh, I hate those bendy edges, the oil always seemed to congregate their. No more of that.

Mine doesn't have all those ruffles on the top tho for pie crusts, just smooth.
