We call em J-Locks around here. When I had my wisdom teeth out I put my TI curve on my J-Lock because I couldn't hit anyting with restriction or it might tear the stitches. I liked it so much my roommate and I are designing a set up just for this purpose.

If I ever get some bubblehash or budder I'll look into these pipes. But for now, I should probly just observe others hitting these pipes bcuz I doubt my low tolerance could handle such powerful smoke (probly end up floatin away if I hit one of those oil domes)

In the 70s/80s, everyone generally smoked oil, hash, and opium off a pin, either directly inhaling or under a glass, the old fave. Domes and nails are just vastly refined versions, much like the oil has gotten better, though compared to daily smoke back then, even lousy oil was devastating!

Just be careful about the size of those dry dabs :-)

LOL, yeah I was probably OILed... but 2 clarify things I was referring to using only a swing arm & ti pad w/ a J-Hook as a natural bubbler like SUSANtiDAD posted just w/o the tape & reduction fitting! There is only a slight difference in the shaping of the U & I am having a friend make up some new Hooks 4 Me that R slightly narrower & much longer w/ either donuts or micro swiss percs 2 arrest the water... there going 2 be 14mm and super MICRO !!!

i thought there was a discussion about this already in either the HMK thread or the oil thread.

I THOUGHT that ripping oil of a titanium pad and not filtering the hit through water could lead to POISONING.

thats why the unit came about.

WATER FILTRATION

I would not vape oil off ti or glass without some water filtration.

if you want oil with a dry hit just rip a dry pipe with herb and oil.

What what what?!?!? Ripping Ti without water can be poisonous? This is the first time I've heard that, But I'll always head to a warning. I'm still curious, why is it poisonous? something with decarboxing on hot metal?

Its medical grade titanium, I highly doubt the idea of it being poisonous, water or not

	I heard if ur weed weighs more than a duck and floats, its a witch and you should burn it Ex overgrow member since 2002!
