Here's a few bits over the last couple of weeks. I wrote a tute on how I make my eyes back in January this year, for people to use and consequently had one published in The Flow, but because of business and a couple of disasters at the studio I haven't had much time to play with it myself this year. I've been developing, adapting, changing and refining this particular technique since 2005 and I made a bunch of these iSlides recently, in stages, while taking breaks in-between making boring and mind-numbing industrial production work.
They all have worked joints to 14.4mm and they all fit just like a normal machine-made joint (most of them are sitting in a 14mm female for photographing, hence what appears to be veiling).
They're a bit time consuming to make, but they're a bit of fun.

Amazing glass the worked joint is my favorite. (because they are rare)

The eyes are also outstanding... your work kinda reminds me of salt but with glossier finishes IMO.
