Lovin the slides Christian, your eyes are so cool and unique, and the joints are awesome. They'd go awesome with my dry I have by you. Hope I can get one somehow. |

whoa, thanks for the big welcome and taking the time to comment. I've come about full circle with making this kind of work, after learning scientific instrument making from my father, I began making pipes full time from '95 to 2002 and they pretty much paid for my University degree ... I almost got seduced away from my torch by working at the furnace during that time. After that I got into sculptural and more arty glass (someone put the stupid notion in my head that if I wanted to be a respectable artist I shouldn't make pipe related stuff), but I've always really enjoyed making pipes and have knocked a few out over the years for guilty pleasure. Now, of course, I know that what I'd been told about pipes it complete and utter hogwash and while I have other work to do, I seem to be finding ways of using what I've learned over the years to make pipes again in a more serious way. I also seem to be finding more and more time to make them and damn the torpedoes! |

Great work. The joints, as previously stated, are very nice indeed. |
