Soooo, I just switched photoperiods today, starting my plant at around 700 ppm, and the next two weeks I'll add another 5 ml of my PK solution, every week. So the ppm's close to flower I'm assuming will be somewhere from 800-1000 ppm's, then a week before harvest I'll flush with florakleen and water. I'm not as experienced as some of the other guys and I know it's not really precise, but it should give you a range to shoot for. |

People say a lot of different things because the concentration of TDS that a plant can absorb is very strain dependent. It's not really about aiming for a range of PPM as much as it is about giving the plant what it's asking for. |

The ppm wont always go down the next day sometimes more water evaporates or is used by the plant then nuits, I get my clones up to about 1200-1250ppm before I even transplant them. For me I always use a low of 1600ppm and go from there I like to get it up to about 1800ppm for a week or two before Final Phase then flush.

My White Rhinos don't seem too gluttonous. The highest ppm I had was around 690@.5ec

I never go above 1000. The ladies need a lot less than you think to perform exceptionally. Also ppm is redundant because of different conversions from ec. |

The plants will indicate if it's too much with down turned leaf tips. The concentration of ferts is not only strain dependant, it's also size dependant. If I grow plants that are 2x normal size and feed them the same ferts dose, they don't grow very well. One strain starts at 800ppm in clone, the other 400. The one maxes out at 2000ppm and the other at 1400. If I crank up the size of the plant, I can expect to add 1/3 more ferts to the mix. It's not like 2x the plant = 2x the ferts, the ratio isn't direct like that. 2x the plant = 1/3 more ferts and 2x more buds. |

How could this have happened? We started out like Romeo and Juliet, but instead it ended in tragedy. - Milhouse |
