burnt plastic on ti

my fan blew a plastic bag up off my table and hit my ti. Some plastic burnt onto the ti and eventually melted and gooed off/scrapped off...any way i can make sure its all off?

Take some emery cloth and sand it off.......HJ

lulz, one time someone set my hot unit down and the pad went right through a sour cream container melted all over. I torched it away outside
