Default Rust's New Work and Progression Thread!

 

Hey guys! So I've been working really hard lately, and I got my glassblowing studio up and running finally! So now I have all summer to devote to my passion of glassblowing!
I've been on the torch for about 2 years now. Only doing serious time in the last 8 months with a few break here or there due to weather(too cold) or school. But I still managed to find time to make lots of new stuff!!!
My boro story is as follows: I apprenticed from[IMG] [/IMG] a few local glassblowers for the first year and a half of my career, mainly working on implosions and getting my technique down. Then, I made a move to work on my own about a half year back when my friends were moving away. I got my GTT lynx and 2 oxygen concentrators and the rest is history!
I started making pendants and beads until about 3 months ago when I decided to start working on tubing. Then my world turned upsidedown as I started developing my bubbles into what they are today. I am finally proud enough of my work to start consistently posting here and letting you guys in on my little hobby . Enjoy!

Very sick looking stuff man! I'm finally behind a torch myself. I can't wait to see what you do, I know you got all the right kinds of inspiration that have led me to a lot of my own. Boy, do I wish I had bought one of those Yoshi marbles... and the memory of the Weber beads is so much more impressive than I could appreciate when we met.

Melt face brother, can't wait to see what else gets posted in here!

Thanks everyone!

I wasnt expecting such great feedback! I was being shy about posting my work, since I hold myself to very high standards. Recently I've been working on these double honeycomb marbles, as well as getting my bubbles/ shaping down.
