Man Hefe, I just watched a tutorial by accident on TV on some show called dotto tech that just did exactly what you want using photoshop elements. The guy used the magic extractor tool, you just basically click the parts of the photo you want and the magic extractor extracts the background for you. I can do the same thing using photoshop but for ease, this guy just did it on TV in 45 seconds. Once you extract the background just set it to black. |

man I dont know shit about shit but I love taking pictures. I have like 10 million random shots of everything from my feet to the drink i am carrying while i camp to my friends fighting each other with a giant bone. But all the pictures kind of suck because I dont know how to correctly take pictures. I dont even have a camera, I borrow one from my asshole ex boyfriend! But it is on the to get list. Mad, your setup is super pimp! Nice monitors and camera! Got a recommendation on a starter camera under 400$? Thanks! |

The one I got was $400+tax [which I know for us Canadians is a lot on $400] but if you can handle the extra $52 then I would suggest the Cannon Rebel XT, I love the shots I get with it... but I vaguely remember you saying you wanted something more compact right? If not I'd say go with the DSLR if you're already willing to spend $400 for a starter cam.
