I had a pair of 2.1s and they fucking fucked up somehow when I moved out I was so sad! I replaced them with some Logitech Z 2300 which are just as good if not better IMO. I want some Klipsch Ultra 5.1s

guys lol, do yourselves a favor instead of spending 2-300 on a pair of computer speakers, buy a Sony mini component stereo system (i think 360 watts), one sub and two speakers, a long enough audio cable, and an adapter with a headphone jack and female inputs for the audio.. sounds so much better than any computer stereo ive heard, and you can obviously play music/radio/etc through this one. It also has a mixing option on it called game mixing, where you can play video games and it will add music into the soundtrack.

if you really want to get good sound, powered monitors are the only way to go.
M-audio and Alesis make some great sounding fairly cheap (<$300) monitors. much better buy than computer speakers.

I've got JBL's platinum series and they're crap They came with my monitor so I didn't pay for em I suppose, but with their reputation I thought they would've been much better
