Maui Wowie was just a general term used to describe "good pot" from Hawaii, it wasn't a specific strain that was developed by a selective breeding program.

Actually it is a specific strain. Created back in the 70's, it started out as a local strain called Blood, which was then crossed with Afghani...and then the following season that result was then crossed with Thai. Originally Posted by Ninja
