Yeah it is ridiculously small...the doors are open now so I have a lot more depth.

Yup, the only way, plus for experimental reasons. Hey, you have to learn somewhere and whats better than hands on!

Day 13, it's been a week since last pics and flush...lol.

    Solution Amount: 4 Gallons
    Nute Ratio: 10-10-10 /gal (Topped)
    2/3 reservoir eaten.

    Topped:
    pH: 6.8 -(adjusted)- 6.0
ppm - 580; going to let it go for a little more.

Feeding schedule: 15 min every 2 hours.
    Cycle: Bloom 12/12

Take a look, I think bud formation has started!

Lol, replying to myself...it's all good, just wanna share.
Those who are just 'lurking' enjoy!

    Day 23

    Solution Amount: 4 Gallons
    Nute Ratio: 10-10-10 /gal (Flushed)

Oh and after I flush I pour plain pH adjusted water on top of the R/W cubes to flush out old salts.

Did a 10-10-10 flush again because from experience, I used to make the mistake by putting the nute solution on bloom as soon as I saw bud formation. This resulted in the plant still needing more N to stretch, which is deprived in the bloom nute ratio, and symptoms show the plant eating the nutes from itself turning it yellow to curling leaf tips turning brown and once it eventually ran outta N (or whatever nutes it is trying to take in) in the plant it pretty much dies...

    Extra: Hygrozyme - 8mL/gal

I am using it in this flush, just because there are so many roots to account for and I am sure they would enjoy the Hygrozyme (research it!).

    pH: 6.0
    ppm: 1740

Feeding schedule: 15 min every 2 hours.
    Cycle: Bloom 12/12

There is noticeable normal dying on the lower leaves, pretty much losing all the baby leaves and the first set of medium sized leaves.
I keep the dying leaves on the plant until it loses the cells to keep itself attached to the plant. So, if they easily pull off, they are in the trash, if they don't I let the plant feed off the rest of the nutrients left in the leaf!
Of course, this occurs as the plant gets bigger and especially during bloom.

I'd like to note that the plant takes up a lot more water in the Transition/Bloom cycles than the Veg. cycle, take it into consideration when growing.

    I cannot wait!
I've always LST'ed and never just done a straight stalk.
-I am sure there are arguments on which gives more yield, either LST and get a lot of small buds or don't LST and have a huge bud..., but it never hurts to try both ways for yourself and find out!
Plus I've never experienced a giant bud! lol

Pic's w/o the flash shows a more detailed clear picture.

It's cool Bob, I just noticed a lot more views than posts, so I just had to state that. lol
Hey, it's cool the thread is here for people to look at, I'm not complaining.
    Plus, I enjoy sharing.

I thought you were knowledgeable on all aspects of growing.
I'm sure you might be, but you probably mastered the soil tech.

Once you do both techniques, you can start seeing similarities in both.
I enjoy doing hydro just because I can easily fix my problems other than taking hours trying to fix it...lol. God the soil flushes..........................I prefer to just save time and change it.

Well, I've picked up a lil hydro knowledge.....very lil.

I've jus always bin dirt. Doubt I'll ever do any of the croppin hydro techniques like them flood & drain tables...cuz I got too many different strains. But I may eventually do a DWC bucket...if for no other reason than to jus have some experience with it. Basically I'm old fashion, got no need fer croppin, & like gittin me hands dirty.
