    Default screen dots or no..?

i personally think they are a waste of the artists time, for the reason that they are just an additional object in the way of and for the vapour to stick too...therefore creating more claim.

although it MAY prevent(barely imo) claim from getting in the bub, its just creating more surface area to be claimed..not to mention another thing to clog...

    personal opinion

now i would like to hear yours!!

i think the screen notches, and in turn the screen, are very important. i just feel that the screen really helps to catch claim from going any further, and makes it easier to get back. not sure thats the only argument for the screen, but i guess we shall see

I don't like using a curve without a screen. The difference is the claim ends up in your curve instead of in your bub.. If you keep your claim, dry claim is a million times better than wet claim. If you don't, you have to clean it out either way. I don't believe that it causes more claim, I think it just keeps the claim out of the water. Also without a screen the diffuser seems to clog up faster since the screen is doing the initial diffuse. What I don't like is a curve with insubstantial screen dots that make the screen fall out all the time. That is a bummer.

but vapour would solidify when it came into contact with anything colder than combustion temp...
    the screen
    the curve itself
    water inevitably...thus the bub

thats how im looking at it at least

I have to agree with JR. Also I feel that hits seem to be too airy without a screen.

JR hit the nail on the head.
i find the screen really does help a lot with the diffusion and claim build up.
i bake with all my dry claim, and dont even bother saving the wet stuff.

I use to not care, but I'm finding I really like the screen. It adds an extra amount of diffusion, and mixes the vapor well with the air, producing a richer vapor. I don't notice much of a difference in where reclaim builds up, my curve and body both still get wayyy grimey, haha....

i really dont think it does to much for diffusion
and as for to airy, i donno if it would really make that much difference unless it was clogged, on top of that, if your hits are to airy maybe its because of the size of you bub or the amount diffusion you have...

    i donno
i volunteer to test this with
2 rigs that are basically identical
    both will start 100% clean
have the same amount of water
    and alternate in hits

we need more volunteers to make this work imo
anyone have 2 rigs that are similar they wanna volunteer
